Once you’ve printed, laminated, and cut out your cupcake counting cards and numbered cherries, it’s time to have some fun!
Cupcake Counting Cards Playtime
To play, lay out your cupcake and cherry cards (and playdough or buttons if you’d like) and ask your child to place the correctly numbered cherry on top of the cupcake with that same number of sprinkles. We also included blank cupcakes so that you could use those either alone or along with playdough or buttons to create your own “sprinkles.”
I’ll admit, I had a BLAST with these cupcake counting cards. The kids did too, of course. 🙂
This activity would also pair well with the book, “If You Give a Cat a Cupcake.”
