Supplies you’ll need for this activity:

How to Use These Advent Activity Cards

  • Print, laminate, and cut out the activity cards.
  • We included an extra card so you can choose your favorite 25 activities. We also included a blank card so that you can write your own activity if you’d like.
  • You can either display the cards, put them in a basket, or tuck them into small individual envelopes.
  • Then, each day, select a new activity card and work on that activity throughout the day.
  • For more fun ideas, including recipes and project guides for this activity, please continue reading below. 🙂

Once these advent activity cards have been printed, you may also want to take a look at this coloring advent calendar from a fellow blogger.

Money and time-saving tip:

We signed up for the HP Instant Ink program over a year ago and absolutely love it! They offer several different plans (such as $4.99 for 100 pages a month) and will automatically send you new cartridges before you even need them.

We are now saving SO MUCH money (and time) on ink and I don’t feel guilty about printing out new printables and playdough mats each day. If you want to check it out, ordering through our link here will give you 1 free month.

You can use just about any HP printer but we’ve been using this compact one and absolutely love it! The color is gorgeous and matches my decor (we’ll call that a win!) and the size is smaller than any printer I’ve ever owned which is great for small spaces (or living room/dining room offices).

Between HP Instant Ink and our compact printer, my printing life truly has become so much easier to print all these fun playdough mats and activity sheets we’ve been making lately.

To round the corners as we often do, we recommend this corner punch. It was such a great investment and is used all the time! It works great on everything from printer paper and cardstock to laminated paper. It really takes the printables to the next level! Also, it’s nice not to have to worry about getting poked with those sharp corners.

After you’ve downloaded and printed your activity cards, you may be wondering how to implement some of the activities (don’t worry, we stuck to simple activities!).

Oh no! I don't know what is going on with this printable, it's giving so many a problem! I'm so sorry! Were you able to login to the resource library? It is on page 20 - here is the direct link: https://www.theartkitblog.com/resource-library/20/

Once you're in the library, you should be able to click on the image and then the file should appear that you can then print out or save.

Please let me know if that works or if it gives you any additional issues. Thank you!

Oh no! I am sorry to hear that. Thank you for letting me know! I just checked and it worked for me but someone else just mentioned they couldn't download the printables from the library so something is definitely going on and needs to be looked into ... What did you click on that gave you an error? A link from the blog post? Thank you! :)
