If you’re rounding up fun crafts and activities to do with the kids for your next Easter or spring-themed unit study or morning basket, you will definitely want to add this easy paper craft to your list!

Supplies you’ll need for this spring craft:
- Printer paper or cardstock (ideal)
- Watercolors, crayons, or tissue paper
- Popsicle sticks (optional)
- Yarn (optional)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Googly eyes
- Gems
How to make the chicks:
- Print out the chick printable and cut them out (we printed ours on cardstock for extra durability).
- Color and decorate each chick (we painted ours with watercolor paints).
- Then, add googly eyes if desired.
- Attach the chicks to popsicle sticks to make cute puppets, string them on yarn to make a garland, or hang them from doorknobs or hooks.
- You could use an old shipping or cereal box to make a scene for the chicks and invite your child to put on a puppet show for you. Get creative and have fun!
